Hi Catrina: I hope you had a good trip home. Just wanted to tell you one more time what a wonderful job you did in PV. Our team, including me, had a great time. The fields were good, the refs were super and the BBQ was excellent. Hope to see you next year.
Hola, Washington State Women's Soccer Association (WSWSA) teams (Shear Power, Cope Brothers) and individual members (Las Amigas) have annually attended what I personally consider to be the most fun international recreational tournament. Every November, mi amigas trek to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, to play against teams from the states of Virginia, Michigan, and California to name a few. We have been competing since its inception by Adrian Eyre in the mid 1990's. Catrina Forcier has done an outstanding job continuing this tournament in Adrian's memory. She has also made improvements such as combining co-ed, men's, and the women's divisons to all play over the same weekend. She solicits and listens to our opinions and continues to make this a great tournament. November, 2005, was fantastic and this year, 2006, will again see Las Amigas, amongst others from Washington represented. The competition is great the camaraderie better, and the citizens of Puerto Vallarta the most welcoming.
Tell Catrina that I said she is especially gifted to do what she does. I enjoyed the level of professionalism of the staff and of course will be back in 2008 the Lord willing.
Catrina: The Vallarta Classic 2006 was fabulous. It was my first, but I can assure you, it won't be my last. Thanks for everything!
Please tell Catrina that this was a great tournament. This was my first time, 2007, and I plan to make it part of my schedule from now on. It was well run and so much fun.
